[attr="class","explorerbox"]A plain and unassuming looking male archen on the small side with an oddly long tail, long legs, and slight banding of the blue along his neck and face and yellow bands along the blue of his tail and primary feathers.

He seems, as most of Jericho's kind do, to be slightly awkward, making quick and jerky movements, as though he were trying to creep around at the corners of rooms and stay out of sight sometimes, though when he's not slinking at the corner of one's eyes he seems to have a usually nervous expression, looking around himself a lot with dark beady eyes, as though wary of everyone around him.

[attr="class","explorerbox"]Jericho is an anxious and cynical Pokémon, who seems almost when you don't know them to be on the verge of a mental breakdown at any point in time. They stutter a lot, don't always talk unless spoken to first, and always seem like they are ready to flee. Off-handed comments often made give off the impression of pessimism as well, and a sort of doom and gloom attitude like he's just waiting for the worst to befall him.

It's not entirely inaccurate, really, though perhaps it's less that he views the world with a glass half-empty then he feels alone and scared. He can genuinely be a bit of a defeatist, though that might just be built into him and his kind to some extent.

Jericho doesn't necessarily seek to act like that though. He's god a lot of self-doubt and a lack of confidence in his abilities or what he can do, but he's also intelligent enough to understand that just cowering won't necessarily get him anywhere. Of course, he has enough self-preservation to not exactly want to go charging face first into danger, but he's hard-working enough to have decided that unless he betters himself he'll never feel any better. He'll just be weak and alone.

Besides, Jericho is empathetic, and even if he doesn't always trust other Pokémon, he has a hard time truly ignoring or avoiding them altogether. Especially if he knows someone needs help - and even if he doesn't get thanked for it, the idea of someone genuinely being hurt or in trouble bothers him somewhere inside and makes him feel guilty for not at least seeing if it's something he could solve.

[attr="class","explorerbox"]Jericho knows something no one else does about him, and he's terrified of what that means for him or anyone around him. He's come off as an oddball, a seemingly completely clueless Pokémon who showed up with no family, no idea how he got to Cloud Town, and no idea who he really was besides a name. Eventually, the town assumed he just had amnesia and had taken a hard knock, and while he's been labelled a bit of an odd-ball as a result, and for being a rather flightless flying type in a town made for the aerial folks, it's been more or less brushed to the side aside for a few laughs or comments.

After all, at first Jericho had been too startled to just out and say he wasn't supposed to be a Pokémon. And once he realized everyone here was Pokémon, he frankly became too wary of them all and what it would mean for him if he just went up and said "Hey I was a human actually". So he stayed quiet, went along dumbly in a world that was confusing and alien to him, and tried to adjust as best as he could.

Truthfully, he's been failing. Jericho is a mess, and freaked out. But Pokémon seem just as much people as those he remembered before, and while he's still struggling and scrambling to try to remember more of who he was or how he ended up here, he's willing to work with them and in his new home. If he doesn't work after all, he'll never get anywhere, and he certainly can't be a free loader... being an explorer is dangerous, but it was the easiest thing to get into, and with it...

Well, maybe Jericho will get stronger and more confident. Or maybe he'll find some of the answers he's looking for. If not... well, things can always get worse.
