[attr="class","explorerbox"]Egbert, or "Eggie" to his friends, is an average-sized Togetic, although somewhat frail and thin. His feathery fur is a neat and clean white, with lighter blue and red triangular rings on his stomach. The plumage on his head often sticks out in odd places, with one feather poking out above his forehead like a cowlick.

[attr="class","explorerbox"]Eggie is a compassionate, patient, and honorable young fellow. Despite growing up rather spoiled, he isn't snobbish at all and shares what he has with 'mons that may not have enough. He was sheltered as a young 'mon however, and is naïve and a bit reckless. Eggie longs to see the big wide world, but sometimes gets himself into trouble because he's ignorant on how things work. He sees the good in every Pokémon, but true violence and bad will makes him very uncomfortable.

[attr="class","explorerbox"]Eggie was a sickly child and hatched late, according to his mother. As a Togepi, he spent a lot of time at the local nursery under the care of the Nurse Chanseys. His family, especially his mother, were important figures and it was extra important in turn that Eggie turned out right. He was going to be the heir, after all. He grew slowly, but he did grow, with proper care and the lavish lifestyle his family was used to. Eggie was doted on as a child as he was the first grandchild, but what he always longed to do was explore. He heard grand stories of the adventures Pokémon went on and the Adventuring Guilds dotted around the region and he longed to be a part of that too. Oh, but his lungs were too weak, he could get a cold, his feathers could fall out! So, dutifully, Eggie did as he was told and stayed put.

It wasn't until his little sister Shelly was born that things began to change. Suddenly Eggie found himself in the role of "big brother", and he loved it! He loved caring for Shelly and watching her when their mother was out. He didn't have too many friends, so Shelly was the alternative. Shelly was a healthy and cranky child, but Eggie's patience and gentleness with her led to him evolving. Since becoming a Togetic, his mother has been less protective over him, allowing him to explore outside on his own more and more. It's not enough though, Eggie still craves excitement. Hopefully soon he will get it...
